Glenn Was born and raised in the mountains near Bryson City, NC , where he developed a strong work ethic while working in various fields, including cattle farming, construction, finance, and the restaurant industry. After graduating from high school, he attended Southwestern and earned his associates degree before moving to Asheville to pursue a bachelors degree in political science at UNC-Asheville. Glenn discovered his true passion after taking a few accounting classes and began studying for the CPA exam while balancing a 50+ hour work week and family life. He successfully passed the CPA and IRS exams in the 1990's and became a licensed CPA in 1997.  

Aretha grew up in Asheville, NC and completed her education at Erwin High School. Following graduation, she spent several years in management roles within the grocery and retail industries. Seeking a new path, Aretha embarked on her accounting journey alongside her husband, Glenn, and has since become proficient in bookkeeping and payroll services. To further enhance her expertise, she pursued additional classes in software and bookkeeping, contributing to her success at the firm for over twenty years.  

Julie, a native of Black Mountain started her public accounting career with us in the spring of 2024. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fayetteville State University, earning degrees in Accounting and Banking/Finance. With her sharp attention to detail, she excels in federal income tax preparation and client bookkeeping for the firm. Julie intends to take the CPA exam in the springs of 2025. Outside of work she enjoys animals, candle and soap making, as well as outdoor activities.
